WASHINGTON, June 12 -- Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., has introduced legislation (S. 2009) to "promote transparency by permitting the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board to allow its disciplinary proceedings to be open to the public."
The bill was introduced on June 10 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
