WASHINGTON, June 11 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 1991) to "authorize a new type of housing choice voucher to help achieve the goals of ending homelessness among families with children, increasing housing opportunities, and improving life outcomes of poor children."
The bill was introduced on June 9 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
