WASHINGTON, June 10 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 1960) to "restrict the ability of the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency to adjust the rates for flood insurance coverage under the National Flood Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on June 7. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
