WASHINGTON, May 30 -- Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Del., has introduced legislation (S. 1945) to "provide for the long-term improvement of Historically Black Colleges and Universities."
The bill was introduced on May 27 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
