WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., has introduced legislation (S. 1539) to amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 "to ensure access to water and food for voters waiting in line at polling stations in Federal elections."
The bill was introduced on May 10 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Raphael G. Warnock, D-Ga. It was referred to the Senate Rules and Administration Committee.
