WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, has introduced legislation (S. 1528) to amend the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, "to repeal certain limits on leave for married individuals employed by the same employer."
The bill was introduced on May 10 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., and Mike Lee, R-Utah. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
