WASHINGTON, April 13 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that it expects to award grants for projects to control the spread of Quagga and Zebra invasive mussels.
The agency description of the grant states: "Quagga and Zebra Mussels are aquatic invasive species that are rapidly expanding their range in the Western United States. Popular recreational reservoirs on or connected to the lower Colorado River are one major source of invasive mu . . .
