WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., has introduced legislation (S. 1030) to "prohibit the use of Federal funds to install permanent fencing around the U.S. Capitol, any of the Capitol Buildings, or any portion of the Capitol Grounds."
The bill was introduced on March 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md. It was referred to the Senate Rules and Administration Committee.
