WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., has introduced legislation (S. 1027) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to repeal the temporary limitation on personal casualty losses."
The bill was introduced on March 25 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn., Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
