WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., has introduced legislation (S. 1002) to "prohibit false or misleading advertising for health insurance coverage, require warnings and reporting with respect to non-comprehensive health plans, encourage enrollment in health plan."
The bill was introduced on March 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
