WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., has introduced legislation (S. 975) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to extend and modify the credit for alternative fuel vehicle refueling property."
The bill was introduced on March 25 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Richard Burr, R-N.C., Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., and Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
