WASHINGTON, March 4 -- The U.S. Department of State announced that it expects to award grants for projects to foster women's active participation in the workforce in India.

The agency description of the grant states: "The goal of this project is the formation of a regional network that will foster women's active participation in the workforce, and advocate for policy changes within government as well as private sector companies to enable a more inclusive work environment.
