WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 482) to "direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services and other Federal officials to compile into a searchable database information relating to Federal support for biomedical research and development related to COVID-19."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
