WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., has introduced legislation (S. 480) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to make permanent the deduction for qualified business income."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La., Tim Scott, R-S.C., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
