WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 478) to "gradually raise the Federal minimum wage, to permanently establish the E-Verify employment eligibility verification system, to mandate the use of E-Verify by all employers."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
