WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., has introduced legislation (S. 472) to amend title 5, U.S. Code, "to provide for the termination of certain retirement benefits for Members of Congress, except the right to continue participating in the Thrift Savings Plan."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
