WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., has introduced legislation (S. 470) to "authorize the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a study to assess the suitability and feasibility of designating certain land as the Great Dismal Swamp National Heritage Area."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mark R. Warner, D-Va. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
