WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., has introduced legislation (S. 469) to "require the Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to establish an advisory board focused on creating opportunities for women in the trucking industry."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., Deb Fischer, R-Neb., and Jon Tester, D-Mont. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
