WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., has introduced legislation (S. 454) to "provide health care and benefits to veterans who were exposed to toxic substances while serving as members of the Armed Forces at Karshi Khanabad Air Base, Uzbekistan."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Robert Menendez, D-N.J., and Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Commit . . .
