WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 449) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to exclude from gross income certain federally-subsidized loan repayments for dental school faculty."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
