WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 428) to amend chapters 95 and 96 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to reform the system of public financing for Presidential election campaigns."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 24 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Ben Ray Lujan, D-N.M. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
