WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 423) to "direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a grant program to protect vulnerable mothers and babies from climate change risks."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 24 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Michael Bennet, D-Colo. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Commit . . .
