WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 417) to "prohibit the Secretary of State from issuing B1 and B2 visas to nationals of the People's Republic of China for periods of more than one year unless certain conditions are met."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 24 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Rick Scott, R-Fla., Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
