WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service announced that it expects to award up to three grants for the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies in Pacific Islands area.

The estimated total program funding available was cited as $150,000. The categories of funding activity are a) agriculture, b) environment and c) natural resources.
