$200,000 Funding Available for Youth Engagement, Education Programs in Uganda

WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The U.S. Department of State announced that it expects to award up to 40 grants for youth engagement, leadership and education programs in Uganda.

The agency description of the grant states: "The objectives of the Public Diplomacy Grant Program are to promote positive relations between the people of Uganda and the United States; reinforce shared values; and connect Uganda's emerging leaders (aged 16 to 35) to the American people through projects that:
