WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 317) to amend titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act "to improve the quality of care for residents of and workers in skilled nursing facilities and nursing facilities during the COVID-19 emergency period."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
