Sen. Durbin Introduces Bill to Address Shortages of Testing Personal Protective Equipment


WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., has introduced legislation (S. 308) to "establish a pilot program to address shortages of testing equipment and personal protective equipment through enhanced domestic production."

The bill was introduced on Feb. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
