WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 -- The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Democracy Human Rights and Labor announced that it expects to award up to two grants for projects that support and strengthen independent media and civil society in Balkan countries.

The award ceiling for this funding opportunity is $2.55 million. The category of funding activity is Foreign Assistance Act.
