WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' National Institutes of Health announced that it expects to award a grant for research on therapy for visual disorders.
The agency description of the grant states: "The purpose of this FOA is the rapid and efficient translation of innovative laboratory research findings into therapies, devices or other resources for use by clinicians to treat visual system diseases or disorders.
