WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 4844) to amend title IV of the Social Security Act "to reauthorize the grant program to promote responsible fatherhood, to modernize the child support enforcement program."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 22 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
