Sen. Reed Introduces Bill on Effective Date of Medicare Coverage of COVID-19 Vaccines


WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., has introduced legislation (S. 4825) to "provide clarification with respect to the effective date of Medicare coverage of COVID-19 vaccines without any cost-sharing."

The bill was introduced on Oct. 21 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
