WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 4824) to amend the Public Health Service Act "to expand the capacity of the suicide prevention lifeline and mental health crisis centers."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 21 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, and Doug Jones, D-Ala. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
