WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 -- Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., has introduced legislation (S. 4790) to "improve the ability of separating or retiring members of the Armed Forces to seek services provided by accredited veterans service officers."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 1 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
