WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 4517) to "provide States additional time relating to the appointment of electors and for the meeting of electors for the 2020 election for President and Vice President."

The bill was introduced on Aug. 6. It was referred to the Senate Rules and Administration Committee.
