WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 4505) to "provide one-time grants to parents and guardians for student education expenses, to establish emergency education freedom grants, and to provide tax credits for donations to eligible scholarship-granting organizations."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 6 and was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
