WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, has introduced legislation (S. 4504) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to expand the availability of medical nutrition therapy services under the Medicare program."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 6 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
