WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 4480) to "promote equity in advanced coursework and programs at elementary and secondary schools."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 6 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and Tina Smith, D-Minn. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension Committee.
