WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., has introduced legislation (S. 4420) to amend title 38, U.S. Code, "to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to pay costs relating to the transportation of certain deceased veterans to certain State and tribal veterans' cemeteries."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
