WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Doug Jones, D-Ala., has introduced legislation (S. 4414) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to establish qualified down payment savings program."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., and Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
