WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has introduced legislation (S. 4411) to amend the Communications Act of 1934 "to establish in the Federal Communications Commission the Broadband Development Grant Program."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Mark R. Warner, D-Va., and Tim Scott, R-S.C. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
