WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., has introduced legislation (S. 4406) to amend the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act "to fully protect the safety of children and the environment, to remove dangerous pesticides from use."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 4 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Cory Booker, D-N.J., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
