WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 4405) to "establish a pilot program to provide grants to nongovernmental entities, including nonprofit organizations and faith-based organizations, to provide economic support in urban areas of the U.S."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 3. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
