WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 4381) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to provide supplementary 2020 recovery rebates to eligible individuals."
The bill was introduced on July 30 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Steve Daines, R-Mont., Mitt Romney, R-Utah, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
