WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 4376) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to permanently allow a tax deduction at the time an investment in qualified property is made."
The bill was introduced on July 30 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Martha McSally, R-Ariz. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
