WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (S. 4375) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to make permanent certain telehealth flexibilities under the Medicare program related to the COVID-19 public health emergency."
The bill was introduced on July 30. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
