WASHINGTON, July 4 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 4208) to "require the Minority Business Development Agency of the Department of Commerce to promote and administer programs in the public and private sectors to assist the development of minority business enterprises."
The bill was introduced on July 2 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., Cory Booker, D-N.J., Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif., Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., and Catherine Cortez . . .
