WASHINGTON, June 6 -- Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., has introduced legislation (S. 3894) to "authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a program to reduce barriers to entry for farmers, ranchers, and private forest landowners in certain private markets."
The bill was introduced on June 4 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I. It was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
