WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., has introduced legislation (S. 3567) to "provide State funding to ensure that essential workers can access child care."
The bill was introduced on March 22 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H., Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif., Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
