WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 3566) to "prohibit depository institutions from assessing overdraft and non-sufficient fund fees during the novel coronavirus crisis and other disasters."
The bill was introduced on March 22 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
