WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Robert Casey Jr., D-Pa., has introduced legislation (S. 3564) to amend title XIX of the Social Security Act "to require States to provide medical assistance for COVID-19 treatment services for individuals who are diagnosed with COVID-19."
The bill was introduced on March 22 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
